Dickinson


The city of Dickinson is situated in the county of Stark in the state of North Dakota. This is a very important city in North Dakota because it is also known as the county seat for Stark. Founded in 1882, Dickinson has a population of around 16,010 people. Some of the important groups of people who inhabit this city include the Germans, Czechs, Norwegian, Irish, English as well as Russian. This city has always attracted a large number of people because of its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

The form of government in Dickinson is City Commission. 5 city commissioners control the city which also includes the president of the city commission. All these commissioners are elected for a period of 4 years.
