The Fargo Air Museum is situated at the 1609, 19th Avenue on the southern part of Hector International Airport. The museum displays world-class collection of restored aircrafts from various countries of the world. Aviation experts Gerry Beck and Bob Odegaard have been the major initiator and contributor to this rare collection of aircrafts. Other aviation lovers like Arnie Widmer of Oakes and ND have contributed significantly in this aviation museum.
AFargo Air Museum is a non profit organization. The property of the museum is leased from Hector International Airport. The museum can be easily reached from I-29 situated close to FATGODOME. The Vintage World War II aircrafts and Bob Odegaard's Corsair are the major attractions in Fargo Air Museum. Other popular aviation attractions include a Minuteman II missile of thirty three ton, a 1943 Beech Staggerwing aircraft contributed by Arnie Widmer, Oakes restorer and collector craft, a North Dakota National Guard DC-3 and variety of airplanes used for civil and military purpose. The museum is planning to expand its horizon though further structures and reconstruction. A gift shop, an aviation library and a conference hall are to be set up in the forthcoming days.
