The Bismarck Civic Center is one of the major centers of entertainment, recreation, trade, shopping centers and services, sporting events, live shows and commerce in Bismarck. It boasts of an arena that can accommodate more than 10,000 people at the same time. Besides an arena, there is also an exhibition hall which can cater to two shows simultaneously. The exhibition hall alone is spread over an area of 48,000 square feet. But what sets the Bismarck Civic Center apart is the fact that one can get all forms of entertainment within a concentrated area. Such a power center is one of the main tourist attractions in Bismarck, the capital city of North Dakota.

Besides the arena and the exhibition hall, there are more than 10 meeting halls in the Bismarck Civic Center. Facilities of lighting and sound, electronic equipments, podiums, guest service facilities, food courts, in-house catering, parking and pick and drop facilities for tourists are provided in the Center. The arena boasts of hosting two of the most popular sports teams, namely the Dakota Wizards, the American basketball team in the NBA D-league, and the Bismarck Roughriders of the National Football Indoor League. Besides sports, there are arrangements also for rodeo, pony shows, live music shows, musicals and theater, among others. One can see a North Dakota Centennial Art Series in the upper lobby of the Exhibition Hall. Tickets can be booked online or collected from the offices at the Center or other ticket outlets in Bismarck.
The Bismarck Civic Center is thus cited as a hub of art, sports, culture on one hand and activities related to trade and commerce are also undertaken, on the other. It is easily accessible by cars, bus and shuttle services. Over the past decade the Center has made renovations worth two million dollars.
