One of the major activities at Souris River is canoing. In September, 1985 Keith Robinson originated the practice of canoing for the first time. He set up a canoing company on the banks of the river and named it Souris River Canoe. Although the company chose to shift its base to Canada canoing on Souris River remains a great crowd puller. As your canoe makes its way through the tranquil waters of the river, life seems to have come to a standstill. The occasion is just perfect for a romantic rendezvous on water.
